This bakery has a variety of pastries to choose from. But of course you should come in the morning to have the best selections. In the evening there might not be much left.

Epi D'Or at first glance looks like a high-end French-themed bakery. After some time, it begins to remind one of Four Leaves, with the mini-bread selection and some more Asian breads such as An Pan. Indeed, it is an outlet of Four Leaves as some research later revealed, and as a huge fan of Four Leaves, it is unsurprising that I liked Epi D'Or immensely. I had actually bought a few breads for a trip to Malaysia and on the journey, regretted not buying more. My favourite is the An Pan, a simple sweet Japanese bread with red bean paste in the centre just oozing out. If you like steamed red bean buns, this is absolutely heavenly. It is also not too expensive and the bread keeps well, so it is quite a good option for a snack or breakfast.

Like any gourmet bakery, this charming little shop bakes tasty goodies, fit for a king. You'll find perfect-looking buns & loaves of bread and pretty cakes here. Surprisingly the prices here were not that high. I like the scones which are 4 for $3.10. I bought some baguettes from them once while on my way home after a meeting. They were perfectly crispy on the outside and deliciously soft on the inside, just the way I like them. I've been coming back here for baguettes ever since. Managed by Four Leaves' Group of Companies, the bakery has promotional prices for selected items from time to time, and their cakes taste good too. My favourite is the Coco Exotic which has a little crunch to it. YUMM!!
